There's nothing like soft smooth skin and that freshly scrubbed feeling. An exfoliating body scrub with Orange and Ylang Ylang will give you that feeling, plus it will feel like you have been transported to a beautiful tropical island.

For this DIY, all you need are a few carefully measured ingredients such as sugar, camellia and apricot oils, and a touch of shea butter for an added skin-loving boost. Of course, the stars of the show are the essential oils. The zesty sweet orange and the floral ylang ylang pair beautifully together to create an intoxicating aroma that brings the tropical spa experience right into your bathroom.

Now this scrub is different from standard sugar scrubs. It's an emulsified scrub and we have used Olivem 1000 which is a natural emulsifier derived from olives.

Why use an Emulsified Scrub?

Unlike typical oil-based scrubs, emulsified scrubs rinse off cleanly, leaving your skin moisturised but not overly greasy. The emulsification process allows the oils and water in your bath or shower to mix, which helps to reduce the oily residue. This scrub contains a mixture of oils, butters, and an emulsifier. This combination allows the scrub to turn into a creamy lotion upon contact with water, providing a rich moisturising effect.
