A high grade version of Xanthan Gum that produces clear solutions. Xanthan Gum Clear is a natural thickener and is derived from corn sugar. It is produced through the fermentation of sugar.
Xanthan Gum Clear is wonderful as a thickener, suspending agent, can be used to create gels and thicken water-based products. This grade of Xanthan Gum Clear is clearer and less stringy than regular grade Xanthan Gum
Suitable for vegan formulations and COSMOS compliant
How we use Xanthan Gum Clear
- Eye gels
- To thicken moisturisers and creams
- Face serum
- Shower gel
Hydrate the gum by putting Xanthan Gum Clear into the water phase and mixing well until all powder is dispersed. We have found it hydrates well when when mixed with hot water, or pre-dispersed by mixing it into a paste with Glycerine.
Usage: 0.1 - 1.5%
Storage: Keep Xanthan Gum in a cool dry location.
