We love using CocoSoft. It's a wonderful ingredient that is versatile and effective. It has a conditioning effect for soft and smooth skin.

CocoSoft is derived from coconut and functions as an emulsifier, a non-ionic surfactant, a solubiliser AND an emollient.

  • As an emollient, it is used to create a smooth, creamy consistency in products such as lotions, creams, and shampoos.
  • As an emulsifier it helps to mix oil and water-based ingredients together.
  • As a surfactant, it is a foam enhancer and thickener.  It's great to add to with other surfactants, it is gentle and mild and is popular in baby washes and sensitive skin formulas.

We love to use CocoSoft to solubilise and mix small amounts of oils and add them to other surfactants. We find it creates a clear formulation and helps create amazing shampoos, hand wash and bubble baths.

 How we use CocoSoft:

  • Foaming face cleanser
  • Bubble bath
